Heartsaver CPR/AED


Heartsaver CPR & AED

 

 Become a lay rescuer by learning how to assess and respond to a cardiac emergency utilizing an AED (automated external defibrillator) until the paramedics arrive.  This course teaches CPR, relief of choking for adults and children, the early signs of a heart attack and stroke, and how to use an on-site AED (automated external defibrillator).  Optional courses taught upon request:  Infant CPR and choking.  Course completion cards will be issued upon successful completion of training.  Course Objective:

  • Learn and Demonstrate CPR skills
    • List signs of choking
    • How to help a choking victim
    • 911-answering dispatchers questions
  • AED (automated external defibrillator)
    • AED usage for victims 1year of age and older

Course Length:

  • CPR/AED
    • 2 hours approx.
  • Infant CPR
    • 1 hour approx. (Optional)

Course Fee's:

  • Heartsaver CPR/AED  $60
