Family & Friends First Aid for Children


First Aid for Children

This course teaches you how to manage illness or injury until professional help arrives.  This course is designed for anyone in the community wanting to learn basic first aid such as:  parents, family caregivers, educational trainings for childcare families, churches, recreational centers, youth organizations, scouts, babysitters, and PTA volunteers to name a few.   Participation cards will be issued upon completion of training.   Contact us to enroll or arrange a class.  (817)675-3611 lifelinecpr4life@gmail.com

Course Objective:

  •  First aid steps for medical emergencies:
    • Breathing problems
    • Shock
    • Seizures
  • First aid steps for injury emergencies:
    • Bleeding you can see
    • Mouth and tooth injuries
    • Head injuries
    • Broken bones, sprains, and bruises
    • Bleeding you can't see
    • Burns and electrocution
  • First aid for environmental emergencies: 
    • Bites and stings
    • Poison emergencies

Course Length:

  • First Aid
    • 1 hour approx.

Course Fee's:

  • Family and Friends First Aid $30
